For many students, science is experienced as isolated and disconnected from their daily lives, but learning happens everywhere. Let’s help students transfer learning across formal and informal environments to foster deeper meaning and impact.

We invite you to an opportunity to build upon the Summer Academy by taking your science curriculum to the next level through community collaborations. Left Bank Consulting will guide you and your peers to design a STEM experience connecting a SEPUP unit of study to the array of resources available in your community. We will anchor our work in the core attributes of SEPUP’s high-quality instructional materials and identify the extension opportunities for field experiences, design challenges, projects, and prototypes. By participating in the summer workshop, you will:

● Nurture a cross-sector STEM environment to augment your science classroom

● Design an actionable plan connecting SEPUP to your community resources

● Learn with colleagues who are eager to take their science teaching to the next level

● Explore funding and investment strategies to sustain partnerships
